What does Spexi do with the data pilots collect?

Spexi anticipates selling aerial data to companies in almost every industry who can benefit from using the data to make better decisions. We also anticipate federal, state, provincial and municipal governments and even SMBs and individuals all being able to make better decisions with the data the platform makes available. And we expect educational institutions and non-profits will want to access the data and we intend to have programs to support these groups as well.

How do you ensure people’s privacy is protected?

Our plan is to open up areas for test flights starting in Spring of 2023. After a brief testing phase, we’ll begin opening up areas for regular missions.

The exact region by region roll out plan is still being developed by our team. Once it’s been finalized we’ll post updates in our Discord server, Telegram and on our socials.

How do you ensure data is captured safely?

We’re standardizing on the Mavic Mini 2 to begin with. The Mini is the most popular drone in the world and is small, lightweight and easy to fly. We’ll soon support the Mavic Mini 3. In the future we may add more drone models and brands
